Today we are celebrating Mars’ first anniversary with us!

Since day one, it is obvious how deeply Mars cares and loves the children in her care.
It is often when you come into the room, you are met with excitement, laughter and many opportunities to play! She has a wonderful ability to connect with her students through play, joining them at their level and creating meaningful opportunities for connection. Her creativity, enthusiasm, and spirited personality bring so much joy and energy to her classroom and our center!

She is also a valued teammate who works collaboratively and thoughtfully. Whether it is offering a helpful hand or jumping into a room when needed (like today!) Just as importantly, she recognizes the importance of strong partnerships with families and communicates with parents in a supportive and collaborative way. She is always thinking of creative, out of the box ideas to help support her students and make them successful. Thank you so much for all you do! We are grateful to have you on our team!

Help us celebrate Bri on one wonderful year with us!

From day one, she has brought so much kindness, flexibility, and warmth to our classrooms. She is the kind of teammate who is willing to jump in, lend a hand or an ear, and support those around her.

Most importantly, it is so clear how deeply she cares for her babies and their families. She creates a loving, nurturing space where little ones can feel safe and cared for, while also being a wonderful source of support for parents. Especially those navigating the exciting (and sometimes overwhelming!) journey of being new parents. Whether is it a gentle nudge on an infants schedule, giving resources, or maybe offering new options or perspective, she is always there for her families!

Thank you Bri for the love, patience, and compassion you bring to our center each day. We are so lucky to have you on our team and can’t wait to see all the wonderful moments and memories ahead!

Happy 5 Years, Baylee!

It’s hard to put into words just how much Baylee has brought to The Grove over the last five years. Her creativity, passion, and genuine love for children show up in everything she does, whether that’s putting together an invitation for children, jumping into a classroom, planning an event, creating a thoughtful gift for teachers, or helping a teacher see something from a different perspective.

I’m so grateful for the ideas Baylee brings, the heart she puts behind them, and all of the ways she has grown and helped us grow along the way. There are so many places at The Grove that have her thoughts, ideas, and little touches etched into them, and we are better because of it.

One of the things I appreciate most about Baylee is how deeply she cares about helping others grow, too. She is an incredible coach to our teachers and has such a gift for sharing her knowledge and passion for child-led learning in a way that encourages people to think differently, try something new, and become better teachers for our kids.

Thank you for five years of caring so deeply about our staff and children, for always bringing your creativity and passion to the table, for sharing what you know with others, and for giving so much of yourself to our school and our kids. We are incredibly grateful to have you as a leader at The Grove. I’m also incredibly grateful to get to do this work alongside you.

Here’s to everything you’ve helped build, all the lives you’ve impacted along the way, and everything still to come!

As we step into a new school year, the classrooms are ready, the shelves are full of invitations to explore, the family photos are up, and every little detail has been thoughtfully prepared for the children who will walk through these doors on Monday.

It’s easy to see beautiful classrooms, but what we are most excited about is what they become through the children’s eyes. These spaces will soon be filled with conversations, discoveries, friendships, messy art, problem-solving, laughter, and so many “I did it!” moments.

At The Grove, we’re so much more than a place children just spend the day. We’re a school where children learn through play, build relationships, ask big questions, and develop a genuine love of learning.

We can’t wait to welcome everyone back on Monday! Here’s to another year of growing together. 💚🌱

Today we're celebrating Claire and her first year with our team! We are so grateful for the care, patience, and creativity she brings to the Willow classroom each and every day. Claire has been an incredible support and consistency for her children, especially as they navigate big milestones like potty training, exploring friendships and discovering their autonomy. She approaches every child with patience, compassion, and a genuine desire to meet them where they are, always finding creative and unique ways to help each child learn and grow.

Over the past year, we've enjoyed watching Claire expand her knowledge and growth as an educator. She has continued to strengthen her documentation skills, expand her regulation techniques to support children through big emotions, develop thoughtful conflict resolution skills that help children build positive relationships and so much more.

Claire, thank you for your dedication, your willingness to learn, and the joy you bring to your classroom, families and our community! We can't wait to see all that you'll achieve in the year ahead.

Today we celebrated Tea’s 1st Anniversary with us! Time really goes by fast when you’re having fun (or you’re a teacher of two year olds!). From the moment Tea stepped into our community, she brought a sense of calm, nurturing, and positive perspective. She is one of those teachers that truly sees the potential in every child, and finds a way to unlock it through observation, play and love. She goes above and beyond for not only her students, but she is also a team player and willing to step in to support any of our staff! We have enjoyed watching Tea find her footing with the Reggio-Emilia philosophy this past year, and diving into Project Work with her classroom. We are thrilled to see what this next year brings for Tea! Thank you for all you do for our team, the children, families and our community.
