Huge congratulations to the Lincoln College Prep Academy Girls Indoor Volleyball Team for earning the 2026 American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) Team Academic Award! 🎉

This recognition is awarded to volleyball programs that maintain a year‑long GPA of at least 3.3 on a 4.0 scale (or 4.1 on a 5.0 scale) — and 1,432 collegiate and high school teams across the country earned this honor for 2026.

But here’s what makes Lincoln stand out:

🌟 This is Lincoln’s FIFTH consecutive year receiving the AVCA Team Academic Award!
A true testament to our students’ discipline, excellence, and commitment both on the court and in the classroom.

📘 About the AVCA Academic Honors
The AVCA also recognizes:

Team Academic Champions — the top programs in each collegiate division with the highest GPAs

Team Academic Honor Roll — programs ranking in the top 20% academically within their division

We are excited to share the 2026–27 School Advisory Committee (SAC) Officers for Lincoln College Preparatory Academy. This team of caregivers will help guide family engagement, strengthen communication, and support the academic and social success of our students throughout the year.

SAC is Lincoln’s parent‑led organization that works in partnership with school leadership to:

* Support school initiatives — from events to academic programs.
* Strengthen communication between families and the school.
* Provide feedback on school climate, culture, and family needs.
* Organize volunteers for activities, events, and student support.
* Build community through connection, collaboration, and shared purpose.

Every Lincoln caregiver is already a member of SAC. No sign‑up required. Your voice, your ideas, and your presence matter. There is a vacancy for a Sergeant at Arms to serve on the SACX. 🐯

This year, we’re inviting all Lincoln caregivers to get on board and become actively involved. Whether you join a committee, volunteer at an event, or simply attend meetings, your participation strengthens our school community.

Your involvement helps shape the experiences our students have every single day.

✨ Lincoln Prep Spotlight ✨
Last weekend, our very own Jada traveled to Columbia to represent Lincoln Prep at the MSHSAA Student Advisory Council Conference — and she absolutely shined.

Her time at the conference was packed with meaningful experiences:
* Learning about updated MSHSAA rules and bylaw changes
* Collaborating on ways to improve the student‑athlete experience statewide
* Participating in leadership training
* Helping create state playlists
* And connecting with student leaders from high schools all across Missouri

Jada represented Lincoln Prep with excellence, confidence, and pride. She had an amazing time and is grateful for all the support that helped make this opportunity possible. 💙💛
