Lemonade season is here!🍋
Our second graders combined entrepreneurship and creativity, setting up lemonade stands around IDEA Space — complete with unique, colorful storefronts and imaginative business names. They invited visiting parents and students to purchase different products using Barstow Bucks and totaled their profits at the end of the day.

The 2025-2026 yearbook is here! This year’s Weathercock theme, “Piecing It Together,” celebrates the many different parts of our Barstow community and how they all come together to make Barstow what it is.

The .weathercock staff dedicated this year’s book to middle school teacher Megan Culver and SAGE Dining’s Dexter Paul, who go above and beyond to support and encourage our students every day. We’re so grateful for all they do to make Barstow 💚

A Capstone experience in the capital! Barstow fifth graders spend the year learning about U.S. history, government, civics and leadership. There is no better way to put all those lessons together than a week in Washington, D.C. Highlights of a packed itinerary included tours of major memorials, Mount Vernon, Harper's Ferry, Arlington National Cemetery and the U.S. Capitol. We're excited for these lower school leaders as they prepare for their move up to sixth grade.
