Communities grow stronger when people come together with a shared commitment to children and families. πŸ‘¨β€πŸ‘©β€πŸ‘¦

Members of the LINC team are attending Institute for Educational Leadership's 2026 National Community Schools and Family Engagement Conference in Long Beach, where educators, advocates, and community leaders from across the country are collaborating around one shared belief: Every child deserves the opportunity to thrive. πŸ™Œ

At LINC, this work is at the heart of our mission. Conferences like this allow us to learn, connect, and bring back new ideas that help strengthen the support systems surrounding students and families across Kansas City.

Together, we continue building brighter futures through partnership, connection, and community. 🫢

LINC believes in the power of young people to be leaders and ambassadors for peace. πŸ•Š

LINC students in POSSE recently came together to celebrate a year of hard work, leadership, and peacebuilding alongside Ossco Bolton and team, Major Kari Thompson from the Kansas City Missouri Police Department, and Dr. Yolanda Cargile with Hickman.

Programs like POSSE help students strengthen confidence, develop leadership skills, and learn the importance of building stronger, more connected communities. We are proud to see students from Hickman Mills C-1 School District, Kansas City Mo., Grandview C-4 School District, and Center School District celebrating the program which also serves students from Kansas City Public Schools and North Kansas City Schools.

β€œIt's about community. It's about love. It's about family. Whatever they need, we've got their back.” ❀️

Across our LINC sites, students, families, and staff celebrated the end of the 2025-2026 school year in ways that reflected the spirit of each school community. These moments were about more than marking the last day of school. They were a celebration of the relationships, support, and sense of belonging that help young people thrive.

At LINC, we believe strong communities are built when people continue showing up for students and families both inside and outside the classroom. ✨

Thank you to our wonderful school partners in Kansas City Public Schools Hickman Mills C-1 School District, Kansas City Mo. Grandview C-4 School District Center School District North Kansas City Schools Fort Osage School District Lee A. Tolbert Community Academy and Genesis School.

Today was a celebration of what’s possible when communities invest in one another. πŸŽ‰

LINC was proud to join community leaders, families, and neighbors in celebrating the grand opening of United Market - Linwood, which is bringing fresh, affordable grocery options back to Prospect and creating a valuable new resource for local families.

We were especially excited to see the LINC Mighty Wild Eagles help bring energy and excitement to the event alongside other talented local performers. πŸ₯βœ¨

At LINC, we know strong communities are built through more than what happens during the school day. Access to healthy food, safe spaces, meaningful partnerships, and opportunities for families all contribute to helping young people thrive.

Congratulations to and owner Anthony Estrada on this exciting milestone for Kansas City!
