Kaleo Ballet

Hello everyone!

I needed to let you know that tomorrow there is bible quizzing so there will be a little relocation as to where we hold the class.

It will be in the Little K room, past the women’s restroom, through the double doors, first door on your right.

My husband & I will get there early to direct anyone who doesn’t know how to get there. Sorry for the inconvenience!

Hello! I am so excited to teach your girls starting this Saturday.

Reminder, Payment for their monthly tuition is due by the first class of the month.

$35 every month. You can pay cash, check, or paypal.

A heads up, you might want to get to class a fifteen minutes early since it’s been chilly & the girls need to slip into their ballet slippers. Trying to keep their muscles warm & also teach right on time.

Starting February fourth every saturday until May 20th-

10:00-10:30 3-4 year olds.

11:00-12:00 5-7 year olds.

1:00-2:00 8-12 year olds.

I don’t have a date for their recital yet but hope to have one soon! 🥰

When I danced full time I never used a hair net. Hair nets are not required although they can be helpful for children with short hair if you’re having trouble.

I always pulled my hair back into a high pony tail, twisted it up into the ballet bun, pinned in place with bobby pins as I went along & made sure my bun was secure.

3-4 year olds will not be required to have their hair in a ballet bun unless you want them to. Just a pulled back tight pony tail to keep the hair out of their face.

They will not require tights either.

They will need full sole leather capezio ballet slippers.

5-7 Ballet bun required. Pink Capezio footless tights. Full sole leather capezio ballet slippers.

8-12 Ballet bun required. Pink capezio transition tights. Full sole leather capezio ballet slippers.

Reminiscing on past recitals throughout the years! I miss all of these students.

The friendships that were formed between these girls, getting to teach these students, the fun that we had!

Hi! For those of you who don’t know me I am a twenty four year old dance teacher. I started taking ballet at the age of twelve & I started teaching at seventeen. I attend the life church in KC. Kaleo dance is a Christian dance class where God is put first.

Along with learning the art of ballet your daughters will be taught bible scriptures as I feel it is important to include scripture.

I’m married to my wonderful husband Austin Smith. I enjoy riding horses when possible, & of course teaching ballet.

Kaleo dance is a alternative for the girls who might never of been allowed to take ballet because of modesty, but, want to learn. I work very hard to make sure parents are comfortable in what their daughters wear.

Inquiries are more than welcome. We will be hosting a meet and greet as I would love for the moms to get to know the other mothers & connect, also the students to get to know the other students & become friends before ballet begins. Finger foods will be provided & there will be forms there to fill out for enrollment.

Please note if you don’t enroll your daughter before February she will not be able to participate in the spring semester. We start learning our recital piece from the very beginning so it’s very important to sign up before February.

Recital will be held in May in the Event center at The Life Church.
