I had the best cook results ever, proud to have stood next to Charles Winslow-Bey Smokey Bey's Barbecue with him being the GC and me as the RGC.

I’m not at SD BBQ Shootout at Huset's Speedway comp this weekend, but was honored when Trent Vanderheiden asked if I would help with his “Driver’s Tri-Tip Cook-Off”
I provided a Bum pack of Bum Dust, swag and Bum Energy drinks. Drivers got to pick one package to cook with.
Chad Peterson with MadChad'sbbq was their Pitmaster giving tips and tricks during the cook.
Proud to say our driver got 3rd overall last night!

Lot D, spot 243 is where the Bum will be for the American Royal World Series of Barbecue.
The BBQ Compound is set with Smokin' Elvises Competition BBQ Team, Irwin's Pit Crew BBQ and A-BBQ Team.
This year's party is more of a corporate event...not room for 300-500 people!

What a day, a dam good day.
Yesterday, I was given a cooler with a 3 pack of ribs, double pack of pork butts and 2 full packet CAB briskets. Not meat I spent time sorting through, inspecting and looking for the perfect stuff to cook. 42 other teams received random coolers as well.
Do with what you’re given, I did pretty good:
