Qualifications

•
Adult teaching and learning principles, curriculum development, training methods, and test development, if necessary
•
Classroom management skills
•
High school diploma required
•
Current Phlebotomy Certification from an organization whose credentialing exam is accredited by the National Commission for Certifying Agencies (NCCA) or the American National Standards Institute (ANSI)
•
(3) Three years of relevant industry experience with administrative and clinical procedures routinely performed by phlebotomists
•
Must have an understanding of the certification process

•
Must have strong communication and interpersonal skills
•
The Adult Education Instructor will work under the general supervision of the program coordinator,
•
Provide learner guidance to students in a classroom environment favorable to lifelong learning and personal growth
•
Establish effective rapport with students, and motivate students to develop attitudes and knowledge needed to ensure that effective learning occurs
•
Prepare and maintain all required documentation and administrative reports
•
Maintain a secure classroom environment
