Happy Pride Month!

Kansas City, Kansas Public Schools wishes everyone a happy and safe Pride Month.

Giving Hope food pantry dates for June. Located at 6640 State Ave.

Starting in June, Kansas City, Kansas Public Schools will offer free summer meals for students at KCKPS locations and community partner sites throughout the summer.

No application is required for eligible youth participants.

Community partner meal sites include:

Parkwood Pool
950 Quindaro Ave.
Tuesday-Friday | June 2 - July 31
Lunch: 2:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m.
Snack: 11:30 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.
(No service June 19 or July 3)

Eisenhower Community Center
2910 N. 72nd St.
Monday-Friday | June 1 - July 31
Breakfast: 8:00 a.m. - 9:00 a.m.
Lunch: 11:30 a.m. - 1:30 p.m.
(No service June 19 or July 3)

B. Lee Community Center
1310 N. 10th St.
Monday-Friday | June 1 - July 31
Breakfast: 8:00 a.m. - 9:00 a.m.

This week, we held our 1st Lowell Brune Art Show! Lots of creative artwork was displayed!

Yesterday may have ended with a very early dismissal, but today we’re back, powered up, and ready for the second-to-last day of school!

Thank you to our families for your patience and flexibility during yesterday’s outage. We’re excited to finish the year strong with lights on, and plenty of end-of-year energy!

Reminder: Students will dismiss at 2:05pm today, May 20 and tomorrow, May 21. Let’s make it a great day!
