Supporting children’s emotional well-being takes more than one organization. It takes strong, ongoing collaboration.
Behind the scenes, the Children’s Services Fund works closely with partners throughout the year to understand community needs, share insights, and strengthen programs that support kids and families. From regular communication to learning opportunities and resource sharing, this collaboration helps partners adapt and respond to what children need most.
Each organization brings deep expertise and connection to the communities they serve. By working together, we help ensure support is consistent, accessible, and responsive across Jackson County.
Because real impact happens when we stay connected and work toward a shared goal.

Today, we celebrate the fathers and father figures who show up with care, guidance, and support for the children in their lives. Whether it is offering encouragement, creating stability, or simply being present, these everyday moments play a powerful role in a child’s emotional well-being.
To all the dads, grandfathers, mentors, and caregivers helping kids feel safe, supported, and valued, thank you for the difference you make.

Juneteenth is a time to remember, reflect, and celebrate freedom. It’s also a chance to honor the strength, history, and contributions of Black communities – here in Kansas City and across the country. At the Children’s Services Fund of Jackson County, we know that building a stronger future for kids means investing in equity, connection, and support for families today. This Juneteenth, we’re proud to celebrate hope, opportunity, and community. If you’re looking for a meaningful way to celebrate, you can join the community at the JuneteenthKC celebration in the historic 18th & Vine District June 19th and 20th for a weekend of culture, connection, and celebration, or the 5th Annual Juneteenth Celebration on June 19th in Independence.

On National Children’s Day, we celebrate the joy and innocense of childhood. The primary aim of National Children’s Day is to recognize the importance of children in our lives and to promote their well-being. It serves as a reminder to value the contributions of children to society now and in the future, and ensure their needs are met. Every child deserves the opportunity to feel seen and supported, and to grow safely and with confidence. When we invest in children, we strengthen families, we strengthen communities, and we build a brighter future for us all. Together, we can create a community of resilient and thriving children and youth.

On National Children's Day, we celebrate more than the joy, creativity, and potential of children — we also recognize our shared responsibility to invest in their well-being and future.
At the Children’s Services Fund of Jackson County, we know that supporting children also means supporting the families and caregivers who help them thrive. Through our Family Support Interventions service area, CSF invests in home- and community-based services that strengthen protective factors, promote stability, and support the well-being of the whole family. These approaches recognize that children do best when families are connected to the resources, relationships, and supports they need.
When communities invest in children and families today, we help build resilient and thriving youth for tomorrow.
