Enjoying summer as much as we can along with the beautiful morning weather. 🩷🌸

The new students have fit right in! This group of students feels peaceful and kind and I am so thankful for that.

The oldest is a peaceful leader and she is happy to now step into her role as the oldest. Watching how she has taken the new girls under her wing and helps them because she wants to, makes me proud of her as her Teacher. She helps the new students feel safe just by being herself and that’s a beautiful gift. 🩷

The kids are back from a little summer break! ☀️

We are still hanging on to summer while it’s here. 🩷

Some of our kindergarteners will be transitioning out this month and we have new friends that have started with us! I’m thankful as the older kids are sick a big help. They all found their little buddy to assist this week and seeing how they care for the littles really warms my heart.

This is the beautiful thing about Montessori and a mixed age class. The little ones feel even safer entering into a new environment when theres older kids to show them the way, to help them feel comfortable.

So much cuteness has entered the school, that’s for sure. 😄

Can’t wait to watch these new little ones bloom here. 🩷🌸

We came back from break this week! Most of the students are still out of town so there have been low numbers this week. A few alumni students came back this week and so we have just been soaking them up and enjoying water play, forts, the garden and of course Rollie pollies 😊

One of the Alumni students refused to go home yesterday. He told his Mom he wanted to come back to this school and that he wasn’t going back to his other school he’s at now. That made my heart happy!

This space was created for children to discover themselves, connect with their joy and find their confidence through independence and social interaction. It was created so they could feel safe and loved in being themselves.

Freedom within limits is how they access this! Even though I’m always sad when the kids leave I know that the seeds that were planted in them here will carry them through life. 💜

We finished off March learning about birds! 🦢 April was full of learning about the rainforest, the water cycle and amphibians!🐸

We have been also preparing our garden beds and finding worms for our beds. The kids learn the importance of having worms in the bed and they had fun creating their own habitats for them. 😊
