The Gene Keys is offering a very special series of online retreats beginning January 6, 2026. Whether you have participated in Gene Keys retreats previously or not, this is a great opportunity to be supported in your healing, growth and transformation for the next year. It is also the last time Richard Rudd (founder of the Gene Keys) will be leading these online retreats.

The entire retreat series is the Golden Path which consists of 3 parts. You are welcome to participate in one, two or all three. I have found these online retreats to be so powerful!

Golden Path Retreat - Gene Keys A new series of Gene Keys online Retreats with a deep focus on somatic transformation and embodied awakening

Pride!

When I first found out this was the name of one of the Shadows from my Gene Keys profile, I couldn’t see it in myself. I first thought, “How could someone who doubts themself so much have Pride?”

But I sat with this possibility and started observing myself. Eventually, the ways Pride insinuated itself into my attitude and most everything I said began to be revealed. I started seeing how I would try to fit into conversations statements demonstrating how much I know about stuff or that I have a PhD in chemistry.

The hardest realization was when I saw that I would lord over my students that I knew more than them during class.

This was so, so painful to see and admit to. But with self-compassion, I realized this false Pride was a shadow of mine BECAUSE of the ways I doubted myself. I was constantly trying to prove to others that I was worthy by telling them how great I was exactly because I didn’t believe I was that great or worthwhile.

From this realization and with Grace, I was eventually able to forgive myself for my Pride. And with self-forgiveness, this shadow aspect of me began to calm down. Now it is rare that I strive to prove I am worthy using false Pride.

To make this journey from being unconscious of my shadow of Pride to a place of self-acceptance and forgiveness and then to authentic knowing of my self-worth took patience and courage and self-reflection and support. There were many workshops and circles that I took part in along the way, but the one thing that has been consistent in my life for the past 13 years and has been instrumental in this journey is the Gene Keys.

I am now at a place where I want to share the Gene Keys with others who are on their own journey of self-discovery, self-acceptance, self-forgiveness and self-love. The Dream Arc!
Wouldn't it be fun to explore the world of creatures and your world of dreams and where these overlap?
Wouldn't you love to open up a space for creatures IRL and in your dreams to bring answers to your most pressing questions?

The Dream Arc is a self-paced journey through the world of creatures and dreams. It was created by the Gene Keys and hundreds of contributors: artists, indigeneous elders and explorers. It is a vast playground where you can pause and explore your inner landscape using the symbolism of the natural world.

You do not need to know anything about the Gene Keys or your profile to embark on this journey. And now you have the opportunity to journey alongside hundreds or maybe even thousands of others from all over across the world.

Gene Keys will begin an international online "retreat" on the Autumnal Equinox and continuing for 3 months; early bird registration is underway. Early bird registration and discount is good until Aug 31.

How does an online retreat work? You get access to all the Dream Arc online content that you can explore at your own pace. In addition you will get to join live Zoom events (which will also be recorded) where those who originally dreamed up the Dream Arc will explore in greater depth aspects of it.
AND! (this is my favorite part!) you get to participate in Community Calls on Zoom. This is an opportunity to join live zoom calls with fellow journeyers from all over the world and move into a breakout room with a few of them where you each can share and witness each others journey. The connections made on these calls is truly magical. I love getting to feel that connection with people all over the world and hear from a few of them.

Circle in the Spiral meaning:

Circle in the Spiral is a name that came to me about 11 years ago. It has multiple meanings that are holographic to each other. As we journey along through the time and space of a single life, that journey is like a spiral. We keep coming back to commonalities but never exactly the same as before. A circle in that spiral is like part of that journey, maybe just one moment in that lifetime. And the entire spiral can collapse to just a single circle, because time and space is really just an illusion. I also see multiple lifetimes as like a spiral. Again, all the lifetimes spiraling out through time and space with a single lifetime just one circle in that spiral. But that entire spiral collapses into a single circle because it is really all happening at once. Past, present, future in just a single moment.

I feel so strongly about this, I got it tattooed on my body.
