Today was a day to remember as we honored our dad, James Caldwell Jr., through our annual toy giveaway event. This event celebrates his passion for supporting families during Christmas, and we're grateful for the volunteers who helped make it happen. Stay tuned for more updates. 👻It's officially spooky season! Get your costumes ready for Ghouls Night Out on Friday, October 17 from 6-8 PM at Westport-Roanoke Community Center! Dress in your best costume to walk in the parade, trick or treat along the trail in Roanoke Park, play gruesome games, and enter the Ghoul House if you dare…

6-8 PM | Ghoul House, free activities, games, and trick or treat trail
7 PM | Costume Parade

Walk along the trick or treat trail to see what frights and delights await! Our KC Parks Community Centers and community partners will be passing out treats and resources along the trail. Participating organizations include: Big Brothers Big Sisters Kansas City, Creative Emajinations, Imagine To Go! (Art Bus), Kansas City Public Library, Kansas City Fire Department, Lakeside Nature Center of KC, Main Event, MCC-Penn Valley Campus, Missouri Dept. of Conservation, Missouri Department of Social Services, The Place of Dreams, The PODkc, Kansas City MLB Urban Youth Academy, and Volker Neighborhood Association 

Activities include a 360 photobooth, bouncy house, bobbing for pumpkins, pumpkin painting, and more!
*Pumpkin painting is available to the first 50 participants on a first come first serve basis.

All activities are free except for the Ghoul House. The Ghoul House is $5/person and can be bought in advance or day of. Purchase through https://secure.rec1.com/MO/kansas-city-mo/catalog/index/36a6c554eda188426f446221a429f26d?filter=c2VhcmNoPQ== and go to the Special Events tab to find the event.
