The next figure drawing group is next week!

Applications are open for our next popup shop on July 1! We’re excited to be back to hosting monthly artist events after our little break - thank you .bunni for designing the flyer and helping out with this one!

We have so many opportunities to beat summer boredom! There’s still room in lots of our camps, and we have a variety of weekly classes, too! See our profile link for details!

Sign up for the upcoming figure drawing group sessions! This summer, the model will be clothed so that young artists can participate, too!

Tuesday night Elementary Art read Art + Joy Best Friends Forever and then made their own paintings of joy. One student proclaimed, “Art IS joy - especially making art.”

They each made 2 paintings - one to bring joy to their homes and one to bring joy to everyone who comes to Create Space.

Finding little notes like this tucked in my stack of papers makes every second of mopping and scheduling worth it. I love our little community of artists, students, and neighbors that gather here!

There’s been so much interest in another Spanish + Art camp that .kane.design added another one! Spanish experience is not required, and there will be some variation to keep repeat campers engaged.

We just added camps the weeks of August 7 and August 14! We’ve had so many parents reach out about helping fight boredom in those dog days before back to school, and we’re so excited about more fun camps!

Enrollment links for these weeks and our June and July camps are in our bio. There’s info about the camps on the enrollment forms, and we’ll be adding detailed descriptions to the website soon.
