Some of you may or may not be aware that I've recently embarked on a new adventure. One that has me in pursuit of obtaining my Gyrotonic teachers certification. I am a participant in Justine Bernard initiative to change the dynamics and demographics of the Gyrotonic community.
a field of practice that finds itself in desperate need of diversity and inclusion for all, especially more specifically women of color. In this effort to bring this beautiful and organic way of moving to communities that aren't typically privy to alternative ways of maintaining physical health and lifestyle.

I am honored to be the direct benefactor of this effort as the most recent scholarship recipient. I am extremely humbled and appreciative of the work, aid, assistance and mentorship provided so generously by Jane Gotch of Resilient Body Gyrotonic and Donna Oberstein of Gyrotonic KC Center.

For me this is genesis of my journey in the land of Gyrotonics. I truly hope you take the time to read my story and feel compelled to contribute how ever you can, to what I feel is a unique and worthy opportunity .
