STM Booster Club

On behalf of the St. Thomas More Athletic Department and Booster Club, we want to thank all of our families and sponsors for your incredible support during the 2025-2026 school year.
Your generosity helped the school raise over $70,000. This has made a tremendous difference for our students.

Because of you, we were able to provide:
• New basketball uniforms and equipment
• Updated volleyballs and track/cross country gear
• Gym court improvements and field upgrades (including new sod and soccer goals)
• Pre- and post-season tournaments
• Teacher bonuses
• Full Field Day supplies
• Fun fellowship events for our community

Your support is strengthening athletics while also benefiting the entire school through better facilities, teacher appreciation, and school-wide events.

Boys Volleyball season is in full swing—and we need your help in the concession stand! 🏐

We’ve split the evening into two shifts to make it easy to volunteer:
• 5:15 – 7:00 PM
• 7:00 – 9:00 PM

This is a great opportunity for 6th–8th graders to earn service hours, and Booster Club is happy to sign off for any high school students who need volunteer hours as well.

A few quick notes:
• Volunteers above 8th grade must be Vertis trained
• At least one adult must be present in the concession stand at all times

As we close out another successful Glory Days we are reminded once again what an amazing group of parents we have at STM. This year, you’ve often heard Booster Club mention the word fellowship. As an organization, we believe that the continuation of fellowship/building relationships is the foundation of what keeps moving our school in a positive direction. So thank you parents, for once again showing up and showing us what you’ve got, both on and off the court! Congratulations to the 6th grade Blue Ballers volleyball team and the 2nd grade dads on their victories! Keep your eye out for a post Glory Days survey coming your way tomorrow from Booster Club via STM!!!

If you weren’t able to join us at Southside for our close-out celebration you may not have heard that our leader, Ray Clarke, is stepping back from the face of Booster Club. If you’ve been to one of our events or you’ve been up to a game at STM on a Saturday, then you know Ray (and likely Mindy too). Under Ray’s leadership Booster Club has transformed into a self-sustaining organization, churning over $200,000 back into STM School. Those dollars have impacted STM students and teachers, not just through Booster Club’s partnership with athletics but also directly into classrooms, along with arts and theater. While all of that is very impressive, what makes Ray irreplaceable is the amount of time he has invested in all of OUR kids. It’s quite possible Ray was at STM every Saturday this year. Whether it was helping run concessions, setting up the TVs to ensure our Cyclone Sponsors get the highlights they deserve, or coaching the 8th grade girls basketball team into victory, the countless hours Ray has invested into STM is unmatched. Booster Club is thankful Ray will still be around to guide us as we try to fill the void, but we also realize this move is overdue and well deserved. If you happen to run into Ray and you feel like he’s made an impact for your family, give him a shout out!

As we say in Booster Club, Ray Clarke for Mayor! He’s got our vote!
