Happy National School Nurse Day – May 6! 💙 Today, we celebrate the incredible HMC-1 school nurses who care for our students each and every day. From helping a kindergartener through their first scraped knee to supporting complex health needs, you are a steady, trusted presence in our schools.

You do so much more than bandages and ice packs. You comfort, you listen, you advocate, and you keep our students safe, healthy, and ready to learn.

Nurse Patty is more than a school nurse – she’s a trusted source of comfort, calm, and care for students and staff alike. Whether helping with a medical need, offering reassurance, or simply listening, she creates a space where everyone feels safe and supported.

Get ready for the 2026–2027 school year! With the new boundary changes, some students will be joining new school communities. Families will soon receive school assignment letters with details about their child’s new school.

To help everyone feel welcome, schools will host Kindergarten Kickoff and New Family Meet & Greet on April 28, 2026, from 6:00 – 7:00 pm so families can tour the building, meet staff, and learn more about their new school.
