BASE Camp is looking for after-school help! We are looking for someone reliable with a love for watching children play, learn, and grow. Must be 16 years old or older. Hours are from 3:45pm until 5:30-6pm Tuesday through Friday. This is for the upcoming school year, August thru May. Must be willing to be fingerprinted, pass a background check, get CPR certified, and register with the FCSR. Pay is $13/hr. Please call Dennis Pavlich at 816-809-6895 for an interview!

We are now approved to take Childcare Subsidy!! This is great news that we are very excited to share. If your family qualifies for free or reduced lunch pricing, then you may qualify for financial assistance for your childcare costs. Childcare costs may be $0 to $5 per day with subsidy assistance. Summer school will be here before you know it! Get your kiddo signed up for before & after school care. We will be Tuesday thru Friday from 630am until 8am when school starts and after school until 6pm. 4 days a week for $60 or 2 days a week for $35. Additional discounts for multiple kids.

BASE Camp is a family-run business. We wanted to show you the faces behind the name. My husband Dennis and I (Mindy), with the occasional help of Grandma Bev, are delighted to provide a safe, fun, flexible environment where your kids can be active and engaged with friends and cared for.

We have lived in Plattsburg for about 7 years. Our oldest son Andrew graduated from here in 2020. Our middle son Ethan is currently a Sophomore. Our youngest is Emerik and he is in Pre-K. We struggled to find before and after school care for Emerik when he was accepted into Pre-K. We couldn't attend the first year because we didn't have care and ended up spending almost $800 per month for an alternative.

We wanted to fill this need in our community with a more affordable option for families that might be in the same boat.
