New Chelsea Elementary Tigers

Our awesome 5th graders participated in Are You Faster Than A 5th Grader!

Leo Prgo came in 3rd, Carlos Lopez-Ramirez came in 7th for the boys and Amy Carranza came in 15th for the girls!

New Chelsea Elementary School tied for second place for most runners to beat the superintendent with 11 runners. (First place had 13.)

Congratulations to New Chelsea's Stars: Ms. Monya Brown, 2024 Teacher of the Year; Ms. Jillian Mateer, 2025 Teacher of the Year ( not pictured) and Ms. Deidra Searcy, 2025 Support Staff of the Year! You all deserve it!

It was great to see all of the families present on a Saturday morning enjoying food, fun, and learning about things available in our community. They were also engaged in watching science experiment demonstrations. We thank each and every family for their time. We would also like to thank our community partners for taking time to come out and meet and talk with our families about great opportunities and services in the community. A big thank you to staff members that helped out and those that joined out families at this event. You are all appreciated!
