Alpha Delta Kappa District VIII Alpha Delta Kappa is an international honorary organization of women educators dedicated to educational excellence, altruism and world understanding.

Alpha Delta Kappa was founded in 1947 by Agnes Shipman Robertson, Marie Neal, Marion Southall and Hattie Poppino, visionary women who saw a need to recognize and support the professional efforts of outstanding women educators. Since 1947, over 125,000 women educators around the world have discovered the many opportunities provided by membership in Alpha Delta Kappa — opportunities for recognition

of commitment to educational excellence, for personal and professional growth and for collectively channeling their energies toward the good of schools, communities, the teaching profession and the world.

Sisters a friendly reminder about our District VIII February Luncheon. It will be on February 4, 2017 at the downtown DoubleTree Hotel from 11:00 to 1:00. Cost is $18 per person and menu will be Green Chicken Enchiladas. Please call or text your reservation numbers by Thursday January 26 to Rebecca Calderon from Zeta Chapter. See you at the luncheon!!
