We are happy to share another summertime opportunity in a Summer basketball camp at the Eastgate 6th Grade Center (4700 NE Parvin Rd Kansas City, MO 64117)

This camp is open to students in 1st to 8th grade with 1st grade to 4th grade sessions from 4:00 to 5:30 pm and 5th grade to 8th grade sessions from 5:45 pm to 7:15 pm. This opportunity runs the week of June 19th through to July 2nd. Students are asked to bring a basketball, water bottle, athletic shoes and positive attitude.

This summer basketball camp costs $55 per student with a $10 discount for siblings beyond the first. Families are invited to join us at Lunch on the Lawn Wednesday, May 20th from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm. This year we will be at the Norclay Building (2601 Howell St. North Kansas City, MO 64116) Parking will be available at Macken Park. Lunches are provided for students but you may bring your own to share with your student. Sharing food with others students is prohibited due to allergies and family food preferences. Feel free to bring your own blankets and lawn chairs. Please send your students with sunscreen since it will be a prolonged outdoor event.

To attend you must have a badge printed at the Davidson Elementary Office. Stop by any day before the event and we can get you one printed. See your email for more details and to sign up.

The Comets PTA are happy to bring in their Family Fun Night for our final month of school. Admission is free! Join us for a free night of entertainment for all students and their families. We will have food trucks, an auction, raffle, popcorn, face paint and more! Family Fun Night will run from 5:30 pm to 7:30 pm on Friday, May 8th.

Davidson Families, Thursday, April 23rd we have Kindergarten Round-Up from 5:30-7:00pm!

If you or someone you know has an incoming kindergartener, please come by and tour the school. You can meet the K teachers, take a bus ride, enjoy a treat and just have fun. This event is open house style so come and go as you please.

2025-26 Davidson Elementary yearbooks are now on sale through April 27th. We have 210 copies available for purchase on a first come- first serve basis. Please make purchases online at mypaymentsplus.com
The yearbooks are $20 apiece.

We’re looking ahead to the next five years of NKC Schools, and we want to build that future
together.
Join us at Northtown for a Strategic Plan Community Roundtable. This is a chance to take part
in a collaborative conversation, share your perspective and help shape the vision for our
schools.
What to expect: Small group conversations, guided questions and a chance to share your
perspective in a welcoming space.
