3D animation is easier than most people think. It's like moving an action figure into poses in the computer.
Our students usually learn to animate successfully in 3D within a few days. By the end of the first year of school many of them are better at 3D than they are at 2D.

35 years ago I worked on my first animated show, the original Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. Now I get to share the knowledge and the joy of working on iconic projects with my students by training them how to do them.

Our students get to do the coolest scenes with some of the best characters in animation. They learn while working on shows they know and love to aquire the skills to work on more shows they love. SEEMS LIKE THE BEST WAY TO LEARN TO ME.

My hometown of Kansas City is now the only place in the country with a 100% full-time animation college. We can bring Hollywood to the Midwest with our experience at Disney, Dreamworks, Sony, Fox, Warner Bros., Activision, Universal and more. My goal is to take what I learned at Cal Arts and add things I wished they had taught me as I worked 35 years at the studios.

We do everything we can to give the best animation program for today's industry.
