Last week, we celebrated our 5th graders as they officially graduated from elementary school!

These students have grown so much during their time at NKE, not only academically, but also as leaders and problem-solvers.

We are so proud of each and every student and cannot wait to see all the amazing things they accomplish in middle school and beyond.

Once an Eagle, always an Eagle! Congratulations, 5th graders!๐Ÿ’š๐Ÿฆ…

This yearโ€™s K-4 Awards looked a little different.

Instead of a traditional ceremony, our students had the opportunity to guide their guests around and proudly showcase their learning and accomplishments from the year. It was such a special way for students to reflect on their growth and celebrate all they have achieved.

We are so proud of our Eagles and the hard work they have put in all year long. Thank you to all of our families who came out to celebrate!

The learning doesn't stop beyond the classroom...

NKE teachers had the opportunity today to participate in an exciting off-site professional development experience at Hot Glass Alley.

This hands-on learning experience highlighted real-world STEM connections through the art and science of glass making. Teachers explored how concepts like heat transfer, states of matter, chemistry, engineering, design, measurement, and problem-solving are all woven into the glass blowing process.

Experiences like this help our educators bring meaningful, engaging STEM learning back into the classroom while showing students how creativity and innovation work hand in hand. We are grateful for opportunities that inspire both our teachers and students to think critically, create boldly, and connect learning to the world around them!
