Together, our district family gathered to officially kick off the new school year around one powerful theme: Rise Up!

From honoring our deep-rooted traditions to setting our sights on rising in excellence, yesterday proved that our staff, families, and community partners truly are the heart and soul of KCS.

We are grateful for our partnership with the City of Kannapolis and for the opportunity to restore, display and honor such an important part of Kannapolis history! Thank you to everyone who played a part in making this possible! 💚

As we continue to celebrate partnerships in the community, today we would like to thank Mark Hattrich and CiCis pizza for supporting our leadership team as we held our final leadership day for the summer! Check out the Piezilla 🍕 and support CiCis!! Everything was delicious!

This summer, our Kannapolis City Schools leadership team has been hard at work growing, collaborating, and preparing for an incredible school year ahead. But we aren’t doing it alone! We are thrilled to launch our new series, Power of Partnerships, related to our Big Rock of Family and Community Partnerships, where we will celebrate the local businesses and leaders who lift up our schools.

When our leadership gathered for Speed of Trust training earlier this summer, Matt and his crew help keep our leaders focused and energized by providing a delicious breakfast to kickstart the day!
