As one of our valued community partners, RCCC provides an outstanding pathway for individuals who are passionate about working with young children and interested in building a rewarding career in Early Childhood Education—including becoming a teacher right here at McKnight!

If you currently work with children ages 0–5 in an early learning program and are enrolled (or interested in enrolling) in RCCC's Early Childhood Education program, you may qualify for:

✅ Cash stipends as you complete coursework and credentials
✅ Scholarships of up to $750 per semester ($1,500 per year)
✅ Financial support while earning your degree and advancing your career

At McKnight, we can confidently say that RCCC has been the educational foundation for many of our current staff members. In fact, a significant number of our teachers and support staff began their professional preparation through RCCC's Early Childhood Education program before joining our school community.

🦋☀️ Introducing our Summer Activities for Preschoolers Series! ☀️🦋

Just because school is out doesn't mean the learning stops! Throughout the summer, we'll be sharing simple, fun activities families can do at home to help children continue growing and learning.

🌼 Series #1: Regulates Own Emotions and Behaviors
This week's activity, Feelings Color Garden, helps children recognize, name, and talk about their emotions through creativity and conversation.

All you need is paper, crayons, and a few minutes together! The best learning happens through everyday moments and meaningful conversations.

Be sure to follow along all summer long as we share a new activity each week designed especially for preschoolers and their families. 🧡🖤

We are so proud to recognize four of our amazing McKnight CDC students — Alisson, Asher, Jonah, and Indy — for achieving Perfect Attendance during the 2025–2026 school year! 🎉📚

This accomplishment is also a special recognition of the families who made daily attendance a priority and helped their children arrive at school each day ready to learn, grow, and succeed. Establishing strong attendance habits at an early age builds the foundation for future success, and we appreciate the dedication and support these families have shown throughout the school year. ❤️

🌞 What a wonderful day at our McKnight CDC End-of-Year Summer Kickoff Family Picnic! 🧺🦋

Today’s picnic was a HUGE hit! The children had an amazing time playing together, enjoying the beautiful weather, and sharing lots of delicious food with friends and families. ☀️🍉🌭

A HUGE thank you to everyone who came out to celebrate with us, brought food and snacks to share, and especially to our awesome Grill Masters who kept everyone fed and happy! 🔥👏

We loved seeing our McKnight community come together for such a fun afternoon filled with laughter, smiles, and special memories. 🧡
