We’re opening our doors for a fun evening designed to help families feel more connected to Jackson Park and their child’s school experience!
Come walk the halls, connect with teachers and staff, get a glimpse into your child’s day, and experience all the things that make JP special. Plus, you’ll have a chance to visit the Book Fair and show your Panther Pride with PTO spirit wear!

Our PTO would like to invite all Jackson Park families and community members to the GO Bond Conversation Session tonight, Thursday, September 24, from 6:00–7:00 PM at Jackson Park!
These sessions are an opportunity to:
🏫 Learn more about the proposed capital projects
🔎 Review facility needs across our schools
💬 Ask questions and learn what the bond proposal could mean for KCS schools, specifically Jackson Park and our students

Due to rain in the forecast tomorrow, our Hispanic Heritage Car Parade has been postponed to Monday, September 28th.
If you signed up to participate, please plan to arrive in the Jackson Park parking lot at 9:10 AM on Monday so you have time to decorate your car.

Just a reminder that there will be NO SCHOOL for students this Friday, September 25th. 🎉

Teachers will be at school for a Professional Development Day focused on learning and growing together so we can continue providing the best support for our students!

Today, our Panthers celebrated International Day of Peace with a special spirit day! 🌎🕊️ Our students and staff showed off their peace-themed spirit wearing Tie-Dye while celebrating kindness, friendship, unity, and the importance of creating a peaceful world.
We loved seeing so many Panthers participate and spread a little extra PEACE, LOVE, & KINDNESS throughout Jackson Park! 🐾

We are excited to announce that Jackson Park is starting a Choir for 4th & 5th Grade students! ❤️
🎤 Rehearsals: Tuesdays, 4:00–4:45 PM
📅 Fall Session: September 29–December 15
🎄 Performance: Festival of the Trees — December 17 (time TBD)
Students will have the opportunity to learn music, build confidence, and share their talents with our Jackson Park community!
💲 $20 Sign-Up Fee
The fee includes a choir T-shirt and sheet music/backing tracks for families.

📸 Picture Day is Coming!

Picture Day is Tuesday, September 15th!

Students may wear their school uniform or dress ABOVE the dress code for their pictures.

🚫 Please remember: No T-shirts and no jeans!

📷 All students will have their picture taken. Order forms will be sent home with picture proofs a couple of weeks after Picture Day.

We can't wait to see all of those beautiful smiles! 😊
