This business began with a husband and father taking measures to protect the ones he loves, including the purchase and carrying of a handgun. Having been raised around fi****ms from a child (and even having a gun range at his farm) guns were simply another facet of life. Later in life as a father of 4 boys, Jim began teaching gun safety and shooting fundamentals to his sons and the youth at his church. He soon realized the joy of educating others and helping to take the fear out of handling and shooting pistols through education and training. Jim receives great satisfaction in empowering others to be responsibly armed citizens and providing instruction in handgun laws.
Jim has received NRA’s Instructor’s training and the North Carolina’s Criminal Justice’s Instructor’s Certification, a NC Private Protective Services license, serves as a church security team leader and bank protection officer.
