October is Breast Cancer Awareness month. Jackson Park lost our beloved teacher, Mrs. Debbie Lowery, in 2011 to this terrible disease. Each year we honor her by raising money for an educational scholarship that will be awarded to an A.L Brown senior planning to pursue an Education degree in college. Ribbons will be sold for $1 and will be placed on the front hall until October 28th. Please join us in the fight against cancer!
