7•1•2022. 𝐇𝐀𝐏𝐏𝐘 𝟐 𝐘𝐄𝐀𝐑𝐒! 🎉 Our village is made of the most amazing people and because of them, from here on out, we will be known as 𝑯𝒐’𝒐𝒎𝒂𝒖 𝑲𝒆𝒊𝒌𝒊 𝑪𝒂𝒓𝒆.
I may be the face that runs it on the daily, but you guys, it’s so much more work than that. 🙌🏼 From my husband, to our parents and nephews, and everyone in between. Our family is part of what made this child care home a success. They have been our # 1 supporters since this was just a thought in 2019. Love your village and treat them right. I’m extremely thankful for them and all they’ve ever done. Ho’omau means to continue, keep on, and persevere. Raising keiki is not always easy, it requires sacrifice, but the reward is worth it. Our keiki teach us that every day is a new day and we will endure + persevere with diligence.
We opened doors during the beginning of the pandemic. The process began in January 2020, paused during March, finally approved in mid-June and ran with it on the first of July! Since opening, we navigated through with State required e-mails and phone calls to remain open.
These past two years have been filled with continued grace especially during an unusual time. From starting a biz with a newbie baby girl, building a new home, to packing up and moving districts with our keiki.
There’s a lot of struggle and hard work here, but there’s even more happiness. Even more blessings. Thank you for all your support, whether you have been with us or currently enrolled in our care, shared or liked a photo, and referred us to others. This is just the beginning and we say that with curiosity, resilience, and drive. So thank you… thank you for your following us on this journey. 😌💛🌼
With Gratitude,
Keshia
