Pray for the entire Hillcrest Academy school community as we begin a new school year, that we will come together with joy, grace, and unity. And pray especially for the 46 new students, that they will feel confident and a sense of togetherness, love, and support. We are excited to welcome 196 students to campus on August 24.

Remembering Levi Miller, Principal 1964–1973 🖤

We're saddened to share the passing of Levi Miller, who led our school through nearly a decade of change. Students from the era remember him for his signature horn-rimmed glasses and for how he grew right alongside the times, trading his buttoned-up 1964 look for a more relaxed, collar-open style by the '70s.

Levi steered the school through major milestones, including the addition of interscholastic sports, always adapting with patience and vision. Thank you for your leadership, Levi. You'll be missed by many. 📷: Reveries

📢 Head of School, Nate Miller announces that Josephine Haub will join the Hillcrest Academy Middle School faculty as an English teacher starting in the 2026-27 school year.

Josephine is originally from Council Bluffs, Iowa and graduated from Underwood High School. She then attended Iowa State University where she graduated in May of 2026 with a Bachelor's degree in English and Education. Josephine has had a variety of jobs during high school and college including a YMCA. She is very excited to begin her teaching career at Hillcrest Academy and to meet the students this fall!
