Isaiah didn't plan on going to college.

After high school, he went straight to work in construction. But after discovering how much he enjoyed learning new skills on the job, he decided to take one class at FVCC.

That one class changed everything.

This Spring, Isaiah graduated from FVCC with plans to transfer to Montana State University to study financial engineering. Along the way, he's served as Student Government president, traveled to regional and national conferences through the FVCC Honors Program and built lasting relationships with classmates and faculty.

Scholarships have made that journey possible.

"Between the Honors Program and the scholarships, I haven't had to pay any expenses for college. That has allowed me to save money for when I transfer."

When Alicia came to FVCC from Minnesota, her plan was to earn her Physical Therapist Assistant degree and head back home.

Instead, she found a community she loved.

Today, Alicia is a Physical Therapist Assistant at Healthy Beginnings Pediatric Therapy, where she helps children build strength, confidence and independence while supporting families throughout the Flathead Valley.

Scholarships helped make that journey possible.

Taylor didn't always plan to become a nurse. After a spinal cord injury as a teenager, she experienced firsthand the compassion and care that nurses can provide. Years later, she realized she wanted to offer that same support to others.

🩺 Today, Taylor is in her fourth semester of FVCC's Nursing program, balancing the demands of school while raising two children and pursuing a career dedicated to caring for others.

Scholarships have made that journey possible.
