We love sharing the success stories of our past graduates!!! Congratulations Ashlie Wise we are very proud of you, your hard work, and dedication to our community!!! Thank you๐Ÿ˜Š

We have some VERY exciting news!!! ๐Ÿงš๐Ÿ–ค

We are thrilled to introduce the new Executive Director of The Bar Fairies, Ashlie Wise!

As our programs, partnerships, and impact continue to expand, adding an Executive Director allows us to build the capacity needed to support that growth, strengthen our foundation, and ensure the long-term sustainability and health of our mission to change the culture around drunk driving. ๐Ÿงš

We have needed the help for a while!!! Keeping up with the immense response has been a welcome (and exciting) endeavor, but one that has tested the limits of our time, ability, and experience. Ashlie brings so much passion, heart, and experience to this little team.

Many of you may already know Ashlie through her work in the community. As a lifelong Flathead Valley resident, she has spent years supporting local nonprofits, businesses, and community initiatives, and currently serves as Vice Chair of the Montana Womenโ€™s Foundation. She has also previously supported Montana Bar Fairies in a volunteer capacity.

Ashlie brings a passion for community-building, strengthening partnerships, and connecting people to causes that matter. She believes it takes a community to make a community and is excited to officially join The Bar Fairies team in this next chapter of growth.

We are incredibly grateful for the volunteers, supporters, and partners who continue to make this work possible, and we are SO excited for whatโ€™s ahead.

Please help us give Ashlie a warm Bar Fairies welcome! ๐Ÿงš๐Ÿ–ค

To say weโ€™re excited for the road ahead is an understatement. Thank you for your support, patience, and kind words as we navigate such fast and furious growth. We want nothing more than to help all of the communities that have reached out wanting to bring Bar Fairies to their hometowns, and this addition to our team is an important step toward building an organization that can support that vision for years to come.

Hi! My name is Evelyn Bennett. I was raised in Kalispell, and Iโ€™m graduating from Linderman Education Center. I donโ€™t have much of a plan after high school. But Iโ€™m going to trust in the Lord, work hard, and enjoy life. I canโ€™t pick out one single memory; itโ€™s hard to pick between all the laughing, music, and even the silent drives after the weekend didnโ€™t go quite as planned. Thank you to everyone who makes high school rodeo possible, especially Sue and Sunny. Iโ€™d like to thank my siblings, my uncle, whom I call when I need advice, and my amazing parents whoโ€™ve always supported me no matter how I did. Most of all, I thank God, every time I back in the box Iโ€™m reminded how blessed I am. There are a lot of big decisions to make in life, but putting your faith in the Lord is the best decision youโ€™ll make.

When I stop at Town Pump, Iโ€™m grabbing Dr. Pepper, Trolli sour gummy worms, and Hershey almond chocolate bar.

๐ŸšจFAST FACTS: Montana's Dual-District Funding Structure๐Ÿ“š
Montana law requires smaller class sizes in elementary grades than in high school. Smaller classes mean more teachers.

What this means KPS:
๐Ÿ“Š The elementary district serves 116 fewer students than the high school district โ€” but is required by state law to employ 12 more full-time teachers.
๐Ÿ’ฐ That translates to $848,796 more in teacher salaries for the elementary district.
๐Ÿ“‰ At the same time, the elementary district receives $1,448 less per student in state revenue than the high school district.

The K-8 Elementary District Levy on the May 5 ballot addresses this funding structure.
