Oil Painting With LOCAL ARTIST Lindalee VOSS Cleveland

Monday, September 14, 2026
9:00 AM 12:00 PM

Montana born-and-raised Lindalee Voss Cleveland is best known for richly colored landscape, bird, and still-life paintings. She works primarily oil on canvas in a semi-realistic style utilizing Old Master techniques. The vibrant tones of mountains and lakes surrounding her home in the Flathead bring never ending opportunities to express her visions in paintings.

Lindalee’s painting career began after attending Flathead Valley Community College art classes, and she credits the influences of FVCC Professors Susan Guthrie and Charity Flowers, as well as Tonalist Rachel Warner, artists Sunnie LeBlanc and Richie Carter and many painting friends for sharing their knowledge and enthusiasm over the years.

As she continues the process of learning the history of art and the language and techniques of oil painting, a new chapter in her life has opened where a lifelong dream of creating art has come true.

PLEASE NOTE: This plein air oil class will be held near the Community Center, but in a lovely garden with interesting perspectives to paint. Location directions will be sent prior to the class.

Have you driven past this old schoolhouse...but never stopped?

Now is your chance to see what's behind those historic walls, and to help shape what comes next!

Thanks to a Montana Department of Commerce grant, the Mountain Brook Homestead Foundation is partnering with Cushing Terrell Architectural Firm to develop a long-term plan for this historic campus. We want to hear from longtime neighbors, newcomers, and even those who've only ever driven by.

What would make you stop?

Join us Tuesday, July 21 • 6:00–8:00 p.m. for a relaxed community conversation about Mountain Brook's future.

✅ Pulled pork dinner, watermelon & cookies
✅ Historic public playground for children
✅ Your ideas matter - everyone is welcome!

Can't make it? We'd still love your input through our community survey:
