DDC is the only NAEYC accredited program in the Flathead Valley and is going on 33 years of providing the highest quality childcare. Centrally located in Kalispell Montana, Discovery has been serving children and families from around the Flathead Valley since 1992 and from our current location since 2005. We are the only child care center in Flathead Valley that is accredited through the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC). We are proud of our reputation in the Flathead Valley as an outstanding preschool and child care program.

That's exactly what we're doing! We're joining forces with Child Bridge, Sparrow's Nest of Northwest Montana, CASA for Kids, Flathead County, The Flathead Youth Home, Good Grief Camp, Flathead Food Bank, Boys and Girls Clubs of Glacier Country, and Abbie Shelter for the Great Fish Launch Party. Outdoor play. Tasting smoothies made with fresh 🍓 from North Shore Farm. S'mores for Happy Camper week. Painting outside. Time with friends. Hiking at Herron Park. Birdwatching at Lone Pine. And tie dye. Our favorite summer tradition.

🚐☑️ We are so BACK!
Both DDC vans are ready for adventure this summer! From parks and museums to lake days and everything in between, we’re excited for all the opportunities ahead. Most importantly, we’re thrilled to safely get our kiddos out into the community to explore, learn, and make lasting memories. 🏔️🩱🌾🚜🛝❤️

Inside Scoop: Kiddos at DDC are exploring all things garden and bugs! 🧑‍🌾☀️🍅🐛

Our Chipmunk class is captivated by worms and Rollie pollies, identifying different bugs they find in our yards. 🪱

The Otter class has been playing deep in the garden! Helping plant, water, and soon PICK all the fruits and veggies we plan to grow this season. 🌱🥬

The Ravens got the chance to bring some worms indoors, creating a worm farm for their classroom and showing interest for insect anatomy🧐🐜
