Just received our first adaptive mug order! I’m looking forward to consulting with this customer to see what their requests are.

These pieces can be made to fit people’s needs with differing abilities. If a large handle, two handles, a straw holder, a wide base, etc., are needed, we will try our best to create a piece adapted to meet specific needs.

These orders are a part of the "Teresa's Mission" line of pottery that we created. The goal is to save 50% of funds from this line to donate to a local high school senior with disabilities for their independent living or continued education.

Custom order of 8 plates ~ Done! For anyone who knows me, I don’t like making plates…maybe it’s the real estate they take up in the kiln, or how I have to constantly monitor them for even drying…or maybe because I do all this work to just pull them from the kiln only to find out they warped slightly and don’t sit flat on a surface. We’re also starting to burst at the seams at the studio for space and again, they take up a lot of space. Possibly all of the above but here we are and regardless, I am excited for their buyer to pick them up. I’ll prob need 6 months or so before I take on another custom order for plates though!
