Box Plots confusing you?
Here’s a simple way to remember how they work.
A box plot is based on five important values:
• Minimum
• Lower Quartile (Q1)
• Median (Q2)
• Upper Quartile (Q3)
• Maximum
Quick Tip:
The box represents the middle 50% of the data.
The line inside the box is the median.
The whiskers help show the spread toward the minimum and maximum.
