PSA For Parents Enrolling Their Infant:

We can’t stress enough how important it is to set your infant up for success when you choose to enroll your child into group care!

This means doing a lot of work at home and teaching your baby how to put themselves to sleep, nap in their crib or simply just limiting contact naps. We know how lovely it is to rock your baby to sleep, have them sleep on you or sleep in a baby wearing carrier BUT by doing that all the time at home it gives your baby NO easy way to transition into childcare well. One provider can’t hold an infant for every nap in a group care setting, it’s just not possible. Consider this before deciding to enroll your infant in group care!

We as providers are always happy to provide support and guidance but you have to do the ground work at home too. 🙂🫶🏻
