✈️ Training Tip of the Day

Fly the airplane first.

When things get busy in the cockpit, remember the golden rule:

Aviate. Navigate. Communicate.

Maintain control of the aircraft before anything else. Then determine where you’re going, and then tell everyone where you are on the radio or ask for help.

A pilot who prioritizes flying the airplane is a safer, more confident pilot.

✈️ ✈️ PILOT SHOUTOUT MONDAY ✈️ ✈️
Toth learned with us at Red Eagle Aviation and became a CFII. He had many students that learned from him, he also flew charter and scenic tours in the backcountry. We miss Toth already and wish him luck on all his future flights!

Here’s some facts and tips from Toth himself!

Current position: Regional First Officer Trainee
Why aviation: I fell in love with flying at the beginning of training the same way most pilots did, but what kept me flying was the challenge. Flying is a ton of fun, but constantly changing variables demand skill and dedication from those who want to make it a career.

My dream: I want to continue working my way up the pilot career ladder, and eventually fly widebody jets to overseas destiations.

Biggest tips I can give: Learn constantly. Don’t neglect checklists and procedures. Learn from the mistakes of others so you don’t make them yourself. And above all, follow your dreams, even if they seem far away. That distance goes by fast when you can fly.
