The Wildcat Cross Country team battled some seriously tough, muddy, and sloppy conditions this Saturday at the Columbus Grove Invitational. Despite the messy course, our athletes stepped up and ran tough all day.
A shoutout to our three runners who pushed through the mud to set new PR’s Cody Decker, Emma Shininger and Alex Calvelage!
The athletes are back in action in two weeks at OG’s Blue/Gold Invitational.

State Meet Day 1 is in the books!

Senior Mia Burgei wrapped up an outstanding Wildcat career by placing 10th in Division V Shot Put with her second-best throw of the season. Mia has been a tremendous leader and competitor for our program, and we are incredibly proud of everything she has accomplished in a Kalida uniform.

On the track, the Girls 4x100 Relay of Addi Huber, Mallory Kerner, Kendal Krouse, and Leah Unverferth turned in a fantastic performance, running their second-fastest time of the season (51.24).

The Girls 4x400 Relay of Mallory Kerner, Addi Huber, Lyla Siebeneck, and Lauren Laudick battled all the way to the finish, narrowly missing a spot in the finals with a 10th-place finish in 4:07.41.

We are back today at Jesse Owens Memorial Stadium as Kendal Krouse competes in the Long Jump Finals at 1:00 PM, followed by the Girls 4x200 Relay and Lauren Laudick in the 400M Finals.
