Have you found golden oysters in your area? These oysters are native to Asia and became popular in at home grow kits. They escaped cultivation in 2010 and can now be found in 25 US states.
These guys spread AGGRESSIVELY and sadly, we can't forage our way out of their invasion. It's not recommended to cultivate this particular species, but if you do find it in the wild, please take it home and eat it! Make sure to keep them in a container that will NOT allow spores to spread on your way home.
****PLEASE DO NOT EAT ANY MUSHROOM YOU CANNOT POSITIVELY AND CONFIDENTLY IDENTIFY***
