“Alpha Chi has given me more than just a college experience; it’s given me a family away from home. My sisters aren’t just friends, they’re my support system and my confidantes. The position i’ve taken on for my chapter is something I’m passionate about because I want each and every new member to feel as if Alpha Chi can be their home away from home as well. People always say it’s the people who make the place, and Alpha Chi continues to prove that everyday.”

“I wanted to serve as VP FO because I was looking for an opportunity to grow as a leader while also giving back to the chapter because that means so much to me. I love being in this position because it allows me to have a direct impact on our members daily experience and help create an organized, welcoming, and comfortable home for everyone. This role has made my leadership, problem solving, and communication skills stronger. I also take pride in making sure our home is a place that reflects the standards and values of our sisterhood. 💕”

STUDY ABROAD SPOTLIGHT ✈️
A special message from MC’ 26, Via Craker, about her time studying abroad in Italy!
“Studying abroad was an incredible and unique opportunity for me, during which I created many memories that I know will last forever. The connections I made, the material I learned, and the culture I experienced all changed how I perceive my experiences back home. In Florence, Italy, I studied alongside two other Kinetic Imaging majors as the first students ever to study game design at the Florence School of Fine Arts. This was a major trip for me, as it lasted an entire month—the longest trip I’ve ever taken—and it was also my first time traveling abroad. I loved staying in touch with my Alpha Chi Omega sisters overseas during this time. They always made me smile when checking in on me, and I’m incredibly grateful to all of them for cheering me on while I was away.
My favorite parts of this trip included the field trips to Chianti and Pisa, learning how to develop the MDA components of video games, and taking a trip to Lake Como. I hope to return to Italy someday with my AXO sisters to soak up some more sun ☀️”
