πŸ’™ We Are Wednesday: Meet Nicole Corbin! πŸ’™

For the past seven years, Nicole Corbin has been making a difference in KRESA’s Head Start program first as a teacher and now as a Head Start Site Supervisor. While her days are filled with supporting classrooms and staff, her favorite part of the job is simple: spending time with students.
β€œSeeing the students and being able to watch them learn and have fun brings me the most joy,” Nicole shares.

When asked why she chose KRESA, Nicole points back to what inspired her from the very beginning: a love for students. That passion continues to drive her work each day as she helps create enriching learning environments that prepare children for kindergarten and beyond.

One of her favorite memories? A student proudly brought her a snake they found on the playground! Thankfully, Nicole was able to convince the young explorer that the snake would be much happier staying outside than joining the classroom. 🐍😊

"I very much appreciate Mrs. Todd and Ms. Star for their hard work and dedication to supporting and nurturing their students. I have personally seen the love and care they show to my son and how much he loves them in return. He loves going to school, and I know it’s because they both pour themselves into their work and students. I’m so grateful for them and all they do and am so happy my son has been with them this year."

In our Pre-K programs, our educators create welcoming classrooms where children feel loved, supported, and excited to learn each day. Strong relationships with children and families help build the confidence and skills learners need to thrive.

"I appreciate and love all the staffβ€”including the bus teamβ€”who make sure Taina is safe and supported every day. Since starting Head Start, she has made great progress learning her ABCs and truly loves going to school. As a parent, I especially appreciate Seesaw and how the teachers and school administrators keep me updated on Taina's learning and connect our family with community activities and resources. Thank you so much for everything you do!"

In our Pre-K programs, children thrive in a safe, nurturing environment while families stay connected and supported every step of the way. From building early learning skills to fostering strong family-school partnerships, preschool helps children grow with confidence and joy.
