We loved welcoming Farm Animals On The Go to our playgroups. Thank you for bringing such a special and memorable experience to our families! 🐐💛
The children had so much fun meeting and learning about the animals, and the highlight for many was getting the chance to bottle feed the baby lamb.
What a sweet moment! Experiences like this spark curiosity, build connections, and create joyful memories for our youngest learners.

Our HR team spent time at the YWCA Kalamazoo, helping pack diaper bags and postpartum bags for families in our community. 💛 We are grateful for the opportunity to support such important work and lend a hand where it’s needed most.

Bubbles, sunshine, and big smiles what more could you need? ☀️🫧
Our New Life Learners took their learning outside and discovered just how much fun exploration can be when bubbles are involved! From chasing shimmering bubbles across the grass to watching them float and pop, every moment was filled with laughter, curiosity, and movement.
It’s amazing what a little fresh air and a handful of bubbles can do sparking joy, encouraging play, and creating space for connection and discovery. 💛

Our West Campus learners brought their field trip inspiration full circle! 🎨✨
After exploring a local art museum, students returned to the classroom ready to create. From carefully displayed pieces to thoughtful details, they stepped into the role of both artist and curator, proudly showcasing their work.
Families were then invited in to tour the exhibit, making the experience even more special. There’s nothing quite like seeing the pride on students’ faces as they shared their artwork and watched loved ones take it all in it was a moment they truly treasured. 🖌️💛
It’s always exciting to see learners connect real-world experiences with hands-on creativity building confidence, expression, and a deeper appreciation for the arts along the way.

Watch out Kalamazoo RESA Career Connect Our St. Joe scholars are future veterinarians in the making! 🐾💙
From bandaging stuffed animals to carefully “checking” heartbeats, these young learners are diving into pretend play as they care for their furry patients. It’s more than just fun it’s meaningful learning in action!
Pretend play helps children:
✨ Build empathy as they practice caring for others
✨ Strengthen communication skills through conversation and storytelling
✨ Develop problem-solving and critical thinking as they act out real-world scenarios
✨ Boost confidence by exploring new roles and responsibilities
We love seeing our scholars’ imaginations come to life while they learn, grow, and dream big. Who knows today’s pretend play could inspire tomorrow’s career! 🐶🐱🩺
Books, beats, and big learning moments 📚🎶
Our students love to read and they love to boogie! Whether they’re turning pages or moving to the music, they’re building important skills while having fun.
In between all that joy, they’re also learning something powerful: how to pause and notice their breathing. Taking a few slow, deep breaths helps children feel calm, focused, and ready to learn giving them a simple tool they can use anytime they need it.
From Storytime to dance time, every moment is a chance to grow. We’re so proud of the way our students are learning to listen to their bodies, support their feelings, and shine in their own way 💛

Our first UMC scholars are building strong early reading skills one puzzle piece at a time! 🧩📚
During this activity, learners practiced recognizing letters and identifying the sounds they make. As they picked up each puzzle piece, they named the letter and then found a word that began with that same sound.
It was a fun, hands on way, to grow their confidence with letter and sound recognition, setting a strong foundation for reading. These skills are helping our learners feel ready and excited for kindergarten! ✨
