Rain forced Burgers and Beats inside this year, but attendees still had a chance to enjoy food, music and good company in this annual event. With President Gonzalez retiring, he no longer will need quite so many orange-and-black ties, so some students, faculty and staff had a chance to claim some of them.

Yesterday we had dinner with the Day of Gracious Giving scavenger hunt winner and her friends. It is always a privilege to connect outside the classroom and hear firsthand about our students academic interests and study abroad plans and experiences.

Honestly, our students are nothing short of amazing, and we are going to miss these dinners more than words can say!

Wishing all Hornets the absolute best of luck as you head into finals. You’ve got this!
