Joined , , and other environmental advocates in calling for an end to the continued operation of the J.H. Campbell coal plant. Michigan deserves clean energy, lower costs, and a future that prioritizes public health over prolonging coal dependence.

We, the WMU College Democrats, want to thank .gif for being such a wonderful chair, wonderful person, friend, mentor, leader, and Democrat!

We appreciate you deeply, and we are eternally grateful for the support you’ve given us and for the person you have been, not only to the WMU College Democrats, but to all of us as members of the Kalamazoo County Democratic Party.

Your leadership has been a source of strength and stability, and it has truly been an honor to work with you. Throughout your time as chair, you have exemplified the values that make our party strong: service, compassion, community, civic engagement, and a genuine commitment to lifting others up and bringing people together.

Thank you for leading with integrity, supporting the next generation of Democrats, and showing what thoughtful and values-driven leadership looks like in practice.

We’re so thankful to have attended the Michigan College Democrats Convention, as well as the Fight Like Hell training with the Gretchen Whitmer team. We had an incredible time connecting with so many passionate organizers and leaders from across the state.

We’re also incredibly grateful for the nominations for Best Chapter and for the awards given to our Spring 2026 executive board members.
