The First Day Shoe Fund visited CELA to provide brand new shoes to over 90% of our students. First Day Shoe Fund is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing a NEW pair of athletic shoes to students in Kalamazoo County elementary schools (grades PreK-5th). Their mission is driven by passionate staff and volunteers of this great community and funded by private donors, businesses, foundations, and corporations. CELA students showed great excitement trying on new shoes and practicing jumping and running in their new shoes. A great big THANK YOU, THANK YOU! is owed to the volunteers at First Day Shoe Fund. You made our day even better at CELA!
