The Comstock Board of Education received notification of a trustee vacancy effective Saturday, August 1, 2026. State law requires the board to appoint a person to fill the vacancy within thirty (30) calendar days. The person appointed will fill the remaining term of office until December 31, 2028, and may run for election in November 2028.
