The establishment of the music therapy program in the 1950's and the on-campus Music Therapy Clinic in the 1970's is in keeping with Western Michigan University's long standing commitment to providing training in health-related disciplines. Acadia Healthcare currently has three full-time and contingent positions for Activity Therapy. The positions are a day shift providing groups, assessments, treatment team, event planning…with plenty of face-to-face contact with the patients!
