VATICAN CITY — Pope Leo XIV has appointed Bishop Edward M. Lohse, the apostolic administrator of the Diocese of Steubenville and bishop of Kalamazoo, Michigan, among seven new members of the Apostolic Signatura, the Catholic Church’s highest court. Bishop Lohse previously worked at the Vatican’s Congregation for the Clergy from 2010 to 2015. While in Rome, he also became an adjunct faculty member at the Pontifical North American College and studied for his doctoral degree in canon law at the Pontifical Gregorian University. He received the doctoral degree, summa cm laude, in 2016.

Cheer Camp is Here!

Calling all students in Kindergarten through 5th grade! Join the Kalamazoo United Titans Cheer Camp for two fun-filled practice sessions where campers will learn cheers, receive a Tiny Titans camp T-shirt and cheer bow, and have the exciting opportunity to perform at the first home football game of the season on September 3rd!
This is a great opportunity for young cheerleaders to build confidence, learn new skills, and experience the excitement of cheering on the field. Our parish helping the community…

The Knights of Columbus at St. Monica's, as always, held a wonderful breakfast and helped support our Caring Network moms and families!

They raised over $600 from the breakfast and generous parishioners brought donated items which included diapers, wipes, hygiene products, books, and clothing!

Due to current air quality levels, all Hackett-affiliated outdoor activities scheduled for Thursday, July 16, and Friday, July 17, are cancelled.

Any other outdoor activities scheduled on or off campus

Hackett’s Trap team competed in the Michigan State Trap Tournament yesterday and brought home a couple of top finishes. The team is made up of CSGK middle school and high school students. Former St. Monica student, Anna, came in 3rd place for women’s novice and the team of Anna, Spencer, Terra, Amelia, and Monica came in 3rd place. Congratulations to all the athletes! 🏆🙏🏼 Special thanks to Coach Andrew for a great season! ☘️
