Yesterday, we celebrated a year of growth, talent, and community at the Kalamazoo Chinese Academy 2025–26 Year-End Showcase! Our language students shined as they demonstrated their skills and earned achievement certificates, while our youth dance, yo-yo, and lion dance teams received well-deserved awards. We also honored our graduating seniors for their leadership and dedication, and gave heartfelt thanks to our board members and key volunteers who make it all possible. What a joyful close to an incredible year. Congratulations to all!

Kalamazoo Chinese Academy Performing Arts students brought Chinese New Year to life with joyful dancing, singing, and an energetic lion dance for the residents of Evergreen North this evening! Along the way, residents learned about Lunar New Year traditions and even joined in by feeding the little lions candies. What a beautiful evening of sharing culture, smiles, and intergenerational joy. Thank you to the Evergreen North community for welcoming our young performers so warmly!

✨🧧 The Kalamazoo Chinese Academy lit up the stage with two unforgettable performances at the 46th CAGK Lunar New Year Gala this past Saturday! Our talented students and performing arts staff celebrated the perfect blend of tradition and modern creativity through our Fashion Show Fusion, which wove classic cultural elements together with contemporary singing, dancing, and vibrant runway style, and through our Chinese YoYo (Diabolo) performance that brought a timeless tradition to life with modern energy, precision, and flair. Honoring the past while inspiring the future, what a beautiful way to welcome the Lunar New Year! 🧨✨
