A Little More About Gift of Grace

As I continue sharing glimpses of our refreshed Family Guide, I wanted to share a page that speaks to the heart of Gift of Grace.

Gift of Grace is a small, Christian one-room school where children are known personally, relationships matter, and learning has room for beautiful books, nature, creativity, hands-on experiences, faith, and wonder.

With a small multi-age class, I have the privilege of knowing each child well and partnering closely with families as they grow in knowledge, character, confidence, and grace.

This is the heart behind what I do — and I’m so grateful for the families, past and present, who have been part of the Gift of Grace story. ❤️

Rooted in faith. Growing in grace. Learning for life.

Over the years, several friends and families have encouraged me to create an Amazon Classroom Wish List for Gift of Grace. I have always hesitated, but this year I decided to prayerfully say yes.

The list includes books, hands-on learning materials, art supplies, organizational items, and other simple things that will be used and enjoyed by the children throughout the school year.

There is absolutely no expectation to purchase anything. This is simply an optional way for those who have asked, “How can we help?” to support our small learning community in a practical and meaningful way.

Every item—large or small—will help create a beautiful, welcoming space where children can learn, wonder, create, and grow.

I’m deeply grateful for the many people who pray for, encourage, and support Gift of Grace. Your kindness means more than you know. ❤️

A Familiar Heart. A Refreshed Look. The Same Mission.

Today, I’m excited to officially share the refreshed Gift of Grace logo.

The familiar heart remains at the center—a reflection of the love, relationships, and sense of belonging that have always been at the heart of Gift of Grace. The gentle botanical details represent growth, beauty, and the grace woven throughout our days together.

The design may be refreshed, but our mission remains unchanged.

Gift of Grace continues to be a Christ-centered learning community where childhood is treasured, relationships are the foundation of learning, and children are known, loved, and encouraged to grow in wisdom, knowledge, character, and faith.

This new look will begin appearing throughout our Family Guide, school communications, and learning spaces as I prepare for the year ahead.

Rooted in faith. Growing in grace. Learning for life.

🌿 Something Beautiful Is Coming to Gift of Grace… 🌿

After spending a wonderful few weeks in Arizona with my son, I’m back home and looking forward to another year at Gift of Grace.

This summer, I’ve spent many quiet hours praying, writing, and thoughtfully refreshing our Family Guide. What began as a simple update became an opportunity to better reflect the heart and vision of Gift of Grace.

Along the way, our Family Guide received a beautiful new look… and our logo received a thoughtful refresh.

A familiar heart. A refreshed look. The same mission. ❤️

While you’ll notice a refreshed look this year, the heart of Gift of Grace remains the same—Christ-centered learning, meaningful relationships, beautiful books, nature, hands-on learning, and children who are known, loved, and encouraged to grow in wisdom, character, and faith.

Over the next few weeks, I’ll be sharing a few glimpses of what’s new as we prepare for another wonderful school year.

Thank you for being part of the Gift of Grace story. Whether you’ve been with us from the beginning or are just getting to know our learning community, I’m grateful you’re here.

Stay tuned… there’s more to come! 🌿

As we close another year at Gift of Grace, my heart is full. What a gift it has been to grow alongside them. ❤️

Yesterday, while shopping at Hardings, we came up with the idea of walking to a local restaurant for breakfast today.

What seemed like a simple adventure became one of those moments I’ll never forget.

The children represented Gift of Grace beautifully. Their kindness, manners, patience, and respect did not go unnoticed. Several people stopped by our table to tell them what a joy they were to watch.

Then one of the students noticed the American flag displayed in the restaurant and asked if we could say the Pledge of Allegiance.

We invited others to join us, and one by one, people throughout the restaurant stood to their feet—grandparents, retired teachers, families, and friends.

Together, we recited the Pledge of Allegiance.

For a few brief moments, the room felt united.

As I looked around, I felt incredibly grateful—for these children, for the families who have shared this year with me, and for the small moments that become lasting memories.

What a beautiful way to spend one of our final days together before summer break. ❤️🇺🇸
