Hello everyone, I am here to let you know that no one has run for an officer position and without officers there can't be a club. For this semester the KVCC ASL Club will not be in effect but we are hopeful for next semester. Be sure to still support other clubs and events such as WMU ASL Club and Deaf NIght Out.

HOW TO RUN FOR OFFICE: To run for office, please post (in the appropriate office post, as described in the comments) your video, text, or picture application. YOU MAY RUN for more than one office. )In the case of a tie, a re-vote will be held with only the two TIED individuals. a candidacy post in the APPROPRIATE post (as described in the comments of this post) for votes to count.
SUBMISSIONS: In your submission, please include why you want to be an officer in ASL Club, why you chose to run for this particular office, your background and future goals in ASL, and any experience relevant to this position. Good luck to all!

HOW TO VOTE: You MUST be enrolled in an ASL class or in the middle of earning your KVCC ASL Certificate for your vote to count. You can ONLY VOTE ONCE in each category. A "like" constitutes as a vote. Although students at WMU, members of the Deaf community, and anyone interested may attend ASL Club meetings and events, the success of the club directly relates to the grades and opportunities for KVCC students, which is why their votes are the ones that count. You DO NOT have to vote in every category to vote in one category. You CAN vote for yourself.
IF YOU WOULD RATHER YOUR VOTE REMAIN CONFIDENTIAL: Please message your legal name (as seen on your transcript) and your votes to this page. Your votes will be seen by those who run this page, Katie and Krysta, with the guidance of Ashley Boza. This creates liability so "rigging" cannot happen.

Here are the brief descriptions of each office:
