Happy first day of Spring Quarter, Hornets! Even though we are not on campus together, I am picturing all of our individual lights shining together from all over the world as we begin this new term in this new time. Be gentle with yourself and with others during this transition. I look forward to connecting with you soon. Lux Esto, always!

I love this perspective on the importance of applying for opportunities, and the value of failure in your growth and perseverance. In the moment it doesn't feel great, but the reflection and writing experience and feedback you gain each time has a cumulative positive effect.
